GUESTBOOK

This section will grow and grow over the months. I shall post images, sketches and concepts that I just doodle - nothing too serious. Not suggesting a redesign of the 7, just playing with ideas for aerodynamics, track day cars, possible new car for Caterham etc etc, so please don't take these sketches too seriously! Most of these images are quick sketches, but I do intend to take some further into more developed images and concepts.

A - Sketch for a fared in Caterham? This view is a good underlay for further concepts...

K - Sketched on a tablet, over our car chassis - very difficult to do a point without the concept looking like an Aerial Atom!

L - Side pods on our car (which has flared wings by the way - very quick Photoshop sketch!) Could be used for luggage, side impact, fuel tanks etc.

O - Sketch themes.

P - Proportionally correct side views to current chassis

Q

R - General sketch themes

S - Real small scrappy sketch this, but there is something in the shape...

V - Proportional sketch onto current car - note covered wishbones. I want to change the lights - although traditional they clash here I think - and make it look like a Donkeveldt (sp?!)

W - OK, a bit of a jump this one, and indeed this project was nothing to do with 7's but something I did a few years ago to teach myself Pro-Designer - a high end 3D package

Car was really drawn as an exercise in using the software, but it could make a nice track-day car, with another seat. Wheel covers would make it road legal... But it shows the level I could take the 7 project - a 3D model of a concept would be great to do, given time. This and other examples of my design work can be found in the 'Design' section of the site.
