Employment Details:

With a strong engineering and materials knowledge and an enjoyment of problem solving I have proved myself to be a strong member of design and development teams. As a senior member of design teams I have worked in all stages of the design process, on a diverse range of products including high value injection molded items such as mobile phone handsets, toys and industrial work, transport projects and packaging.

I have gained management and communication skills, and this coupled with my ability to relate to people of different ages and backgrounds means that I am confident working closely with development engineers and suppliers at all stages of a project.

I have very strong presentation skills, from verbal to conceptual sketches and fully finished renderings, and have experience of Solid Works, Pro-Designer, 3D Studio and Rhino. I have an excellent knowledge of Photoshop. This combination provides an excellent base to learn any other package I may be required to use.

Responsible for all aspects of 3D design at one of the countries leading toy companies. Development of new technologies in the field of Pop-Up and inflatable toys. Worked closely with suppliers and clients, including the BBC and Lucas Films. The work I did there still forms 70% of the companies successful toy range.

1994-1998                               Level Six Design Consultants:

Rapidly rose to the position of Senior Designer, where my responsibilities included all aspects of design development and presentation. Projects include a range of plastic toy trucks for Brio a large vacuum pump enclosure for BOC, and consumer products.
