CSR Race car chassis with Ford Duratec engine.

New chassis looked very neat in its silver powder-coating finish.

New dash exposed! I have no idea if this dash contributes to the 25% increase in chassis stiffness that caterham are claiming for the CSR chassis. The fact that it is a bolt on component means that apart from being able to be offered as an option, maybe different colours will also be readily available, as the tubes are  a highly visible part of the new cockpit architecture.

Plenty to discuss...

...including details of the new in-board push-rod front suspension.

Twin fans on the very wide but very low radiator. Not sure if this is a race car only component or common on all the other models as well.

Front suspension and radiator.

New double wishbone fully independent rear suspension was also on full view for all to explore.

Rear chassis structure has obviously changed considerably with the new IRS system, losing the De Dion tube and gaining more struts and braces.

Will this make it easier to bolt on the FIA bar??!

Chassis looked very low and purposeful in this stripped state - in my opinion highly desirable as well!
