Evening meal on the Dordogne. We parked up and boarded the slowest boat you will ever likely to go on!

Specialty of the river was Lamprey - a pre-historic eel type thing, which feeds off the river bottom. Despite millions of years to evolve, it had not. Actually it tasted ok - if a little 'black'.

Dordogne river looked beautiful in the evening sun. We travelled about 500yards down stream, then came back again. That trip took about 3 hours! It was a delightful setting for a meal though.

The Saturday afternoon line up!

A slightly different view.

40° heat! Count how many people are crammed into this little patch of shade!

Pretty perfect line up at that!

Peter and Rosina's stunning black and gold plated Caterham looked great in the sun.

A French Classic - the Citroen DS. Tessa and I sneaked a ride in this during the evenings entertainment.

After giving rides to locals, we popped along to a nearby village for a brief appearance at another fete.

The fete had been based around the sport of 2CV Motorcross. I had to be restrained from trying a lap of the course in our car...

Tessa lends a helping hand with the massive paela, which was even better this year.

Sun goes down on another great day, whilst we move inside for the evenings entertainment...
